Starting Cast Iron Babe has been one of my biggest recent adventures. It’s been scary, enlightening, exhilarating, and a lot of hard work.
So many of you reached out to share your well wishes, signed up for our Nourish experience, offered to help us grow the brand, and sent questions asking what the heck I was up to. Thank you so, so much. Your encouragement and curiosity mean the world to me.
There were also a few people who questioned my latest pivot. After all, I was a personal branding coach for high-performance professionals for 27 years, and now I’m part Mr. Rogers, Mary Poppins, and Julia Child? Say whaaat? ?
I fully accept that there will be some who won’t resonate with Cast Iron Babe. And while that can be momentarily disheartening, I know—big picture—that this is all part of the process and really ok. I’m fully rooted in my mission to highlight how love and care can be infused into the family unit through food and show how food creates a common ground for all kinds of people.
If you’ve known me for a while, you know that everything I do is about lifting up the world around me. Cast Iron Babe is my latest vehicle for doing just that. I hope you’ll stick along for the ride and share Cast Iron Babe with your loved ones. But if Cast Iron Babe doesn’t resonate with you, no hard feelings. Truly.
New adventures can be challenging. Obstacles and setbacks are inevitable. People may not want to tag along.
We felt it was important to establish what Cast Iron Babe really stands for!!
This is why our Nourish experience is so exciting to me. With a group of like-minded and motivated individuals, we’ll dive into the six key ingredients of our lives to identify what flavors need fine tuning and the actions we can take to make significant changes for more balance and fulfillment. Who doesn’t need a little more of that?
