I’m writing this hello before Christmas, and you will receive it the day after. If you celebrate, I hope you and your family enjoyed a wonderful day together yesterday. If you don’t celebrate, I hope you’re enjoying some wintry downtime. Either way, I’m wishing you love, wellbeing, and grace for yourself.
Our family keeps it very simple during the holiday season. What matters most to us is the reason to celebrate in the first place, and then doing so with family, friends, dogs, and delicious food.
We exchange very few gifts, and each gift we do give is meaningful. We make french toast and crispy bacon for brunch, and this year we’re having a simple one-skillet chopped turkey mashup for dinner. We’ll play games and catch up, exchange a few gifts, and eat good food.
Joe and I would like to wish happy holidays and blessings to you and yours!
